I used to think success was achieved by constantly planning and striving for more, and I had to become a high-achieving, goal-oriented individual.
Follow the steps of setting specific, measurable goals and working tirelessly to achieve them.
But following that path unknowingly planted the Belief Seed that whichever parts of me got “in the way” of achieving my goals were a lower priority.
Things like being present in the current moment, connecting with my inner self, and exploring mindfulness and self-awareness.
I have since come to learn this is entirely backwards.
Talking about my own experience of what it’s LIKE to pursue my goals as the PERSON I am has brought a deeper sense of fulfillment and clarity my way to find a more effective way to achieve my goals.
By focusing on being present in the current moment, I have become more aware of my thoughts, emotions, and actions. This has allowed me to make more conscious decisions and take inspired action towards my goals, rather than just blindly following a plan.
Exploring mindfulness and self-awareness has also helped me tap into a deeper sense of inner peace and contentment, and has allowed me to appreciate the journey as much as the destination.
Overall, I have come to realize that success is not just about achieving external goals, but also about cultivating a sense of inner peace and fulfillment. By prioritizing being present and self-aware, I have become a more effective and fulfilled person, both in my personal life and in my pursuit of success.
So, take a moment to pause, breathe, and be present in the current moment. You might just find that it's the key to achieving your goals with greater ease and satisfaction.
