Congratulations to the 57 Ocean team for their recent achievement of LEED Gold certification under v4 New Construction. This luxury residential high rise in Miami Beach excelled in the implementation of sustainability strategies within the transportation, water reduction, energy, and materials categories just to mention a few.

The building will be realizing energy savings with the use of LED lighting and LUTRON controls in most common areas, as well as by using a cooling tower with water source heat pumps. TESLA EV chargers will be available for use in the garage. The design focused on connectivity with the outdoors and provides ample open spaces. Occupants can expect optimal levels of indoor air quality via the use of MERV 13 filters and advanced CO2 sensors. This building is proof that when goals are integrated as part of the vision of the project, luxury can be sustainably attained.

The health and safety of the residents and occupants remained at the forefront of the building's design process for this project. This video highlights some of the features incorporated into the building which provide improved ventilation and air quality.

The Registry is also a Fitwel certified property which means they have gone above and beyond to keep their occupants health and wellness as a main priority.

Gables Station, a mixed-use residential project is now LEED SILVER Certified. This unique location is based around a local Metrorail station, and features wide open green spaces for the public to enjoy. With close proximity to the University of Miami, the building also provides bicycle parking, ride share options, and parking for green vehicles.

As part of their process to become LEED certified the team strived to include the neighboring community in efforts to understand & preserve the rich Bahamian history that is closely tied to the area.

We hope to continue working on innovative projects like Gables Station that aim to provide connectivity and transportation for the public.

We are excited to share our latest video production, featuring the soon to be completed “Registry Las Olas" luxury high-rise. We met with Lincoln Property Company to discuss the sustainability and wellness features blended into the design and construction of this new Fort Lauderdale landmark.

In this video we sit with LPC’s Manuel Puccini to discuss the integration of building performance concepts, features, implementation and verification along with how we developed cloud-based communication technology to streamline information flow and accessibility.

We are working on many innovative, sustainability-driven projects within the Port of Miami. NCL’s Terminal B is the latest addition to our portfolio of LEED success stories. The beautiful “Pearl of Miami” surpassed all expectations, becoming the First of many, including the First LEED Gold NC V4.0 certified project at Port of Miami.

The team went above and beyond best practices by following an integrative approach to design and construction, which lead to high levels of energy performance, water efficiency, air quality, and reducing overall environmental impacts and carbon footprint. This project is not just a visually stunning landmark, but it serves as an example of sustainability and efficiency for the industry, a catalyst for the region.

We look forward to the feedback from passengers as they begin to experience the new terminal. From the unobstructed views of the bay and port, impressive art work, to the wave celling feature, this Terminal is sure to impress the most well-traveled passengers.

This week world leaders have come together for in Glasgow, Scotland to discuss challenges and solutions to the ongoing climate crisis. Although we are not able to be there in person, we are definitely there in spirit!

It is exciting to see the drive and innovation coming from many of our local leaders, including Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, who has set forth some very ambitious goals for the county.

A bulk of our portfolio exists within the Miami-Dade region, so it is incredibly important for us to have an impactful climate action strategy in place to follow that will benefit all communities we work in. Needless to say we are looking forward to what outcomes and innovative ideas come from in Glasgow, Germany.

Below is a snap shot from the county's Climate Action Strategy & the main goals associated with emissions, electricity and fuel reduction:

Achieve 80% community-wide emissions reduction by 2050 from baseline year of 2008.

Reduce the consumption of gasoline in County operations by 30% and the consumption of diesel fuel in County operations by 70% from the baseline year of 2016 by 2028 and further move toward conversion of the County’s fleet to electric vehicles.

Reduce electricity usage for County facilities by 20% from the baseline year of 2009 by 2025.

Incorporate green building practices into the design of County facilities and infrastructure (Sustainable Buildings Program).

Have 30% of county-wide energy obtained from solar by 2030 with the ultimate goal of achieving zero emissions for county-wide energy sources

Meet SUNDY Village, set to be one of Delray's most unique mixed-use projects to break ground this year, complimenting busy Atlantic Avenue with its lush outdoor green spaces. At the core of the site is the main building which will offer various life-style and wellness driven spaces to accommodate a variety of diverse uses. The community will be able to enjoy ample green spaces that have been thoughtfully incorporated throughout the buildings' design. To alleviate traffic & parking related issues the underground parking garage will also extend beyond the footprint of the building.

As the sustainability and performance consultant, SEQUIL Systems will assist the team in achieving a LEED Silver status for the building, while maximizing all of their sustainability and energy efficiency related goals.
