It's been a while since we posted anything just been extremely busy trying to get caught up, we're on a big job in Southern Indiana here's the first pile of logs. Big thanks to Zach Maher with Willis Contract Cutting we know it's be a learning curve but hang in there we appreciate it.

Just about done with this job, we have some logs to haul and some white oak to sell and off to the next one.

With all the rain we have been getting we had to move are setup up near the drive to finish out the job, it's not always fun moving equipment and logs more than once but now even if it rains cats and dogs we can still haul.

Sometimes you have to get creative when you're by yourself, side note i couldn't get the bell over the dead stub, luckily my brother showed up to haul logs and he came back and helped me.

Pretty decent hard maple for the area we're working today, typically there hollow or really big heart wood inside. Minus the bad spot, at one point in time something or someone damaged the side of the tree, it's inevitable while harvesting timber your gonna bump another tree and cause some damage. It's important to pick your skid trailes, trees that are less valuable and poor quality are the a better option to bump or rub if need be.
