Our 14th cohort - Class of 2026 - graduated on June 16, 2026.

23 new alumni of the Leadership Livingston program. During the graduation, we recognized our class sponsors - these are the organizations that support the program in full - showing support for leadership / community development in Parish.

They are

North Oaks Health - who has been a sponsor of the program since the first year - 14 years now.

First Guaranty Bank - not far behind and sponsoring the program for 13 years.

City of Walker, Louisiana - sponsor for over 8 years.

Blue Cross / Blue Shield - first of many to come

Congratulations to class speaker chosen by her class mates to represent them in the ceremony - Emily Glascock.

The class also presented 3 projects from their respective project groups.

Opsyn is founded by Alesha Graham, a construction operations professional with years of experience in production homebuilding and subcontractor operations, Opsyn Solutions helps construction businesses that have outgrown their systems regain control and scale with confidence.

We were honored to join Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 4, local officials, first responders, and community members in celebrating the ribbon cutting of the new Station 11.

As noted during remarks from Chief Wascom, Robert Dugas, Councilman Magnus, and Stephen Avara representing the Parish President's Office, and our Chamber President - April Wehrs - who emceed the ceremony, this new facility represents much more than bricks and mortar—it is an investment in the safety, preparedness, and future of our community.

The Fire Protection District also recognized the dedication, collaboration, and community support that helped make Station 11 a reality.

This new station will enhance emergency response capabilities and provide the firefighters of Fire Protection District 4 with the resources they need to continue serving residents with excellence, professionalism, and compassion.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this important project to life. We thank our firefighters and first responders for their unwavering commitment to protecting our community every day. ❤️🚒

One of my favorite things about LP Business Roundtable is getting a front-row seat to what's happening across so many different industries. 👏

The question was:

💭 "What's one trend in your industry that people should know about?"

The answers did not disappoint!

And perhaps the most "LP Biz Roundtable" moment of the morning? We started with AI and estate planning... and somehow ended up learning that Clydesdales are a vulnerable breed and that Wilder Blue Ranch is helping shine a light on preserving them. Because you truly never know what you'll learn around this table.

If the conversation reminded us of anything, it's that trends may evolve, but people, relationships, and community remain at the heart of what we do.
