Final prep for our trip. An item that is often overlooked! It is recommended that the wheel bearings be inspected, repacked with grease once a year or 12,000 miles. The brake assembly can also be cleaned and inspected.

Tire pressure is always my concern as well while traveling, wanting to avoid blowouts. I check tire psi before leaving home and each camp ground along the way. While traveling, I check the tire temperature with a heat gun at each pull over. Not sure of what ideal temp should be but I’m looking for consistency in the heat of the tires.
