Seven years ago today, the devastating downtown fire destroyed the original building we called home on Main Street.

When we look back at that day, we remember what was lost, but mostly we are reminded of how far we have come. The Desk & Easel was always about more than just a physical building—it is about the driven people who fill it. The resilience of this community is what allowed us to rebuild, grow, and continue serving the professionals of North Texas.

Today, we are celebrating the life, energy, and growth that fills our current space on Chestnut Street, as well as the incredible revitalization across all of Downtown Denison. We have come a long way, and we are so grateful for the community that has been with us through it all.
