Guy Tang Hair Artist created this Holographic Prism hair using all the Vibrant Pastels and SuperPower shades in Guy Tang Mydentity on his friend Lauren Nikohl ⁣

PROCESS:⁣
Pre-lightened with Big9 and a splash of Olaplex, then used all these Mydentity shades below 👇⁣
1️⃣ Charcoal on rootàge⁣
2️⃣ Cosmic Coral⁣
3️⃣ Mint of Steel⁣
4️⃣ Arctic Blue + Sheer Power⁣
5️⃣ Lightening Bolt + Sheer Power⁣
6️⃣ Pink Diamond + Pink Possession⁣
7️⃣ Lavender Lust⁣
8️⃣ Silver Pearl + Sheer Power⁣

Here's a tutorial from Shannel Mariano on how to cut the length shorter and make the ends blunt, but slightly beveled. 👇⁣

Step 1 ✂️: I cut all her hair at natural fall.⁣
⁣
Effect: Just like the diagram, if I take a vertical section on her hair, you’d see that all it falls to one point. This caused her perimeter to be blunt.⁣
⁣
Step 2 ✂️: Then I took a vertical section on the center back of her head and pulled the section straight out. I dropped majority of the hair out because I wanted to keep the perimeter still kinda blunt. I cut just a bit off having my cutting line perpendicular to the floor. I connected what I was cutting to the length of the hair on the bottom of the section I was holding.⁣
⁣
Effect: Leaving out majority of the hair on the bottom, caused the perimeter to remain blunt. Pulling the hair on top straight out of the head shape and cutting a line perpendicular to the floor caused the hair to bevel. Why? Since the head shape is round, it caused the hair I cut to be shorter on the bottom and longer on the top. It’s like a I put a little baby graduation on top of a line / one-length haircut. ❤️🍼✂️😊⁣

Just in case you’re wondering why I would use GB, it’s because the B at a level 8 and above stands for beige. Meaning it has a cooler secondary light reflection which helps control some warmth, but still leaving a nice gold base. The RV was added just to blush out the color and enhance the warmth with a cool reflection.⁣
