Parking Problems - patrol crew finds a vehicle in violation of the parking permit required rule. The crew using our enforcement app to take a lot of pictures, GPS location, Time/Date Stamp and are automatically forwarded to the property manager.

The pictures are used to verify the violation. The majority of people booted for no parking permit have a tendency to place the permit in the vehicle after it has been booted.

That is why the crew takes a lot of pictures especially the interior where people try to place a permit, like it had fallen. A violator is not your typical person they are used to doing as they please. When they get caught, they are not above manipulating the situation in hopes it will get them out of the boot.

They will accuse the patrol crew of not seeing the obviously placed parking permit. The boot is illegal since their permit was on the floor where it had fallen to. They will complain to management that the crew didn't know what they were doing, and the boot should be removed at no cost.

Parking Problems - Patrol crew boots a vehicle for not displaying a parking permit. The violator parked right in front of the sign informing people that a parking permit is required.

Since a boot is a courtesy over a tow impound we hold people accountable if they do cut off the boot. The sticker on the boot and that is applied to the drivers door window informs them of the penalties.

Removing a boot without paying results in Criminal Mischief and Theft/theft of services charges plus over $800 in collection fees and boot replacement costs.

Since we have the vehicles information it is easy to trace the ownership allowing for our successful collection rate. An individual business owner could decide how they would like to pursue violators that remove the boots. We find that it is less than 2% with a 25% recovery rate.
