Are you sad when a post you put out there, that you are super proud of receives no comments?
Let me tell you a secret.
Social Media means being "social". Imagine you are speaking to a group of co-workers and someone asks a question or makes a comment. What if you said NOTHING back?? That's super rude, right? Well, when someone asks a question or makes a comment on your social media post you need to recognize them with a comment back. Engagement is one of the first things you need to grow in order to sustain in people's minds. Once you start doing this potential clients will notice the activity and be more comfortable engaging with you. You just made yourself much more approachable.

Christopher Wanless earned his Real Estate License in March of 2022. He joined Elite Home Partners in April of 2022. He reached out to me in June looking for some ideas to grow his social media. After working with Christopher for 6 +months he has grown his engagement by over 70%!

Now just know that you can't always link a specific post to a sale but like all other forms of networking, you just have to put yourself out there and start a conversation!! The more conversations the more possible sales!

A tip, Even if someone comments with a thumbs up remember to give a thumbs up back at them!

Growing up in the 70's and 80's, I remember the times I spent with my grandma and grandpa in a tiny town in IA.

This made me remember the small-town newspaper that was distributed to each home. The paper included a gossip column for things like, The Lund family had the kids and grandkids over on Sunday for dinner. Sara serviced roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. Homemade apple pie and ice cream was a hit for dessert! In remembering this I realized that was the original Facebook!!
People have always loved gossip, at least the good gossip. Straight from the source so that when you would bump into a friend at the grocery store, they could say "I saw that your grandkids were over for Sunday dinner?" This is how you create engagement on or around your posts. The best part is now we can include pictures and videos! This is what I simply call creating chatter.
