Our client is an early-stage mineral extraction company developing hydrometallurgical technologies for critical metals. They’re looking for a Process Chemist to design experiments, interpret results, troubleshoot chemistry, and support scale-up alongside process and design engineers.

We’re partnering with a growth-stage advanced metals company looking for a Lead Hydrometallurgist who can take promising process work and help turn it into something that performs in the real world.

You’ll be close to the work, developing and refining flowsheets, running pilot campaigns, troubleshooting equipment, supporting commissioning, and working through the technical questions that come with scale-up.

And as the operation grows, so will your influence. You’ll work alongside EPCM partners and equipment vendors, help shape technical decisions, and play a role in building the team that carries the process forward.

How often do you get to help design a mine, then stick around to see those plans become reality?

Our client is moving a large oxide heap leach project toward mine development, with feasibility work underway and production currently expected in early 2028.

They’re looking for a Senior Mining Engineer to help shape the mine plan through detailed engineering, then transition to site as operations ramp up.

You’ll work across pit and phase design, mine scheduling, haulage analysis, cost modeling, and trade-off studies. As the project moves closer to production, you’ll also help build the Technical Services systems and processes the operation will rely on.

A lot of teams don’t have a spending problem first. The problem is really clarity.

That shows up early, in exploration plans, in project assumptions, in the rush to keep momentum going because the market is moving and nobody wants to be the one who slows things down.

But in mining, moving faster without better judgment usually just makes expensive mistakes happen sooner. Knowing what needs to be true before you keep spending, staffing, or pushing a project forward matters more than most people want to admit.

That’s one of the threads I got into with Travis on Ore-atory ... how independent technical thinking can help teams pressure test assumptions, set real decision points, and protect capital before it disappears into the wrong work.

It’s a practical conversation, especially for anyone working upstream of development, financing, or ex*****on.
