The project included the safe removal of hazardous building materials to support renovations and ensure the space meets current health and safety standards. All work was completed in accordance with applicable environmental regulations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and minimal disruption.

Colorado Hazard Control is proud to support the restoration of the historic Fox Theater in Trinidad, Colorado as it moves closer to returning to its former glory. Our team was recently awarded the final abatement project for the site.

The work included spill response cleanup in the boiler room, crawlspace, and west basement room 3. In the boiler room, we removed disturbed pipe insulation and duct insulation, and filtered groundwater that had seeped inside. The crawlspace required the removal of disturbed pipe insulation, asbestos debris, and approximately two inches of impacted soil. In the west basement, our team addressed a spill involving three square feet of mag block insulation located at the center of the room.

All work was completed in accordance with spill response cleanup requirements set forth by CDPHE. We are grateful for the opportunity to help preserve this historic landmark for future generations.
