This is my wife.
This is who I build with.
This is the kind of love I used to only imagine was possible.
🌈 I’m q***r. I’m a filmmaker. I’m an immigrant. I’m a Latina business owner.
And I’m holding space for the weight of this moment as a country. What once made me feel proud to live in this country, the freedom to love who I love and be who I am, feels so fragile. Not just for me, but for all of us.
I don’t have all the answers.
I just know that what keeps me going is the hope that there are still people who believe in love, in dignity, in freedom for all.
That’s why I’m sharing this.
Because representation matters.
Because visibility matters.
Because who you choose to stand with matters.
From small businesses to essential industries, from art to education to the economy, we are part of the fabric of this nation. It’s hard to watch both of these parts of me, the communities I belong to, face so much pressure, suspicion, and discrimination. Latinos contribute over $3.2 trillion to the U.S. economy. LGBTQ+ people contribute over $1.7 trillion.
We are not invisible.
We are essential.
No matter your gender, your race, who you love, or where you come from — your truth belongs.
Your love matters.
Your story matters.
You are safe here ❤️
If no one’s told you lately:
You are sacred.
You are worthy.
