Last year these potted geraniums struggled due to fungus. This spring I emptied all of the soil, cleaned the pots and sprayed the insides with hydrogen peroxide to kill the fungal spores; and then added new soil. I’m happy they are thriving this summer! 🌺

This has been an exciting project helping to personalize my clients and friends new shop in Galena. Instead of replacing the tall white shelves behind the desk we simply painted them black, build a panel between them and covered it in a Victorian wallpapers. We will build a cap over this entire section and paint it black and hang art, mirror or whatever they decide upon when it’s finished.
For the windows, we painted the platforms black from white, removed the curtains and then built a frame stretching a “haunted forest” fabric print over it giving a haunting feeling to the windows. We will then light the print to be seen through the windows at night. The chandeliers are original so we just replaced the bulbs with flickering light bulbs. I’m excited to see this shop when it’s finished, it's been a blast helping create a “Haunted Victorian” vibe per the clients request.

It’s always been challenging getting water to the 2nd story window planter boxes, and since the trees have created full shade for the hanging baskets we utilize UV safe artificial flowers for this client. After Mother’s Day I’ll plant real flowers in the back pots and front garden.
