Today, we honor the life, legacy, and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Even in 2024, we see nations grappling with hatred, violence, + poverty. The social, political, and economic landscapes reminds us of the importance of his philosophies and methodologies.

At The King Center, they've identified a strategic theme for 2024: 'Shifting the Cultural Climate through the Study and Practice of Kingian Nonviolence'. This theme serves as a guiding principle that encourages global citizens to promote justice and peace in our world by studying and practicing Kingian Nonviolence. Join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today and every day by living out his message of nonviolence, justice, and equality

Both The Equity Project + The HR Shop, LLC teams have officially embarked on our much-anticipated resiliency break. We believe in the power of rest to boost creativity & productivity, so we’re taking a pause to rest, rejuvenate, and recharge our batteries for an even more productive & successful year ahead.

Our offices will remain closed from 12/18-1/2. Please note that we will resume correspondence to any and all inquiries on Tuesday 1/2.

Today, we honor and celebrate the diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. It is a day to recognize and respect the rich heritage that existed long before Columbus. And, white the day traditionally observed him, it's important to remember that his arrival and subsequent colonization had devastating consequences that are still present today.

Today serves as an opportunity to reflect on the true history of our nation and the ongoing struggles faced by Indigenous communities. At The HR Shop, we believe in acknowledging and promoting inclusivity and equity. Today, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities!

Monday, we celebrated & recognized , the oldest known celebration honoring the end of slavery in the United States (which also recently became an official Federal holiday). What are ways businesses can continue to observe 's legacy?
