“we already did the legal marriage but never got photos or celebrated” - so d&e rented a mountain cabin and set up a small celebration weekend for them and their pups too.

i joined them right before sunset for a romantic candlelit date night at their airbnb on a snowy colorado night. it was such a privilege to be there for d&e

i don’t think people understand the importance of making sure you have photos for these different eras in their lives - until they’re 60yrs old looking back.

➡️ no matter how intimate or simple your marriage celebration is, it deserves damn good photos. your 60yr old self will thank you ❤️❤️

bc i believe that branding photos aren’t just headshots or what you do - they’re literally your first impression.

denver branding sessions have become a major part of my business and it seriously lights me up. branding is such a huge part of what type of clients you attract and how sustainable your business ends up being. the imagery you have on your website or instagram is the imagery that sets the tone for your first impression, what’s your first impression saying?

➡️ businesses with bad (derogatory) branding photos have bad first impressions and attract clients who are gonna ask for discounts - putting it plainly. your corp headshot isn’t gonna cut it.

my why for branding photos goes well beyond photography - it’s creating imagery that’s just as badass as the business because small businesses deserve to THRIVE with clients they love.

this snowy winter elopement in the woods of Colorado 🤤

when these two contacted me, they planned their elopement around their ski trip 🥹 they were like yeah we’ll be out there skiing so we figured we’d get married too - it was a honeymoon wedding all in one.

They booked an A-frame in the woods and we hoped for snow. I connected them with my friends here in Colorado to make their vision come to life. We planned this elopement in a few short months. Because the wedding planning process doesn’t have to be long and drawn out. It can be as simple as emailing me and asking me to put you in touch with my bad ass friends as well.

➡️ so this is your sign to stop letting expectations of other people stop you from doing what feels good for you and your partner.

also shout out to for letting us take photos in their space - the bar is incredible!!

Some film and digital of this 📍 Planet Bluegrass Wedding ❤️

my favorite thing to do as a photographer is focus on the big picture but also the small details & moments that make that big picture. the details you put thought and intention to. the hug you give your college bestie during cocktail hour. the way the florist took your vision and made art to create it 🤤 killed this design btw

incorporating film photography allows me to give attention and care to those details that digital just can’t convey 😮‍💨
