It's year two, and it was an incredible one with + at their first-ever co-located annual conference. A massive shoutout to all the people who work hard for over a year to pull off an incredible experience. We got to tell your amazing stories this week, and it has truly been a joy working on this mammoth event with you all.

I’ve always believed in building strong teams and working with amazing people. This week would not have been possible without these amazing people I call my friends and colleagues.

Today, I had the privilege of touring Denver's WorkReady program at Centro de los Trabajadores. An initiative that boasts over 300 participants, this workforce training program offers ESL training, firsthand career path observations, and hands-on experience to shape a brighter future in Denver.

Under Mayor Mike Johnston’s leadership, the Denver Economic Development & Opportunity office is driving real-time innovation, creating a supportive environment for both newcomers and employers in our city. Together, we are fostering a community where everyone can thrive.

It's inspiring to witness such impactful changes happening for newcomers in Denver, reflecting a shared commitment to progress and inclusivity.

Thank you Andrés Carrera for inviting me down!

Classes will focus on teaching asylum seekers valuable skills, including digital literacy, worker rights and how to assimilate into American work culture.
