It is the season for company kick-offs. People are jumping on airplanes, staying in hotels, and gathering with their colleagues to hear the strategy and goals for 2025. Whether you're presenting to the entire company, department, or team, you need to PREPARE. You might know what you will say, but have you found time to rehearse? Why do you have to rehearse? How do you rehearse?

You’ve got your talking points, developed great strategic stories, written an outline, and built a PowerPoint to reinforce your key messages.  Heck, you’ve even added a few speaker notes to your slides.  But, you’re not finished. You need to rehearse.

Last week, we were able to work with an incredible group of professionals. The Staff leaders from the Parliament of Ghana understand the power and importance of communication. They were an engaged and thoughtful group that brought a whole new perspective to the table. Thank you to National Conference of State Legislatures for bringing us in to work with this amazing group. We are hoping they will invite us to Ghana for Part II of the training.
