We’ll take these wrapped in reusable bags, please.

If you’re new around here, we build apps that make it easy for individuals to feel a lot less hopeless about climate change.

Because the system won’t change until we tell it to.

Move over lunchables ...

Our biggest request from UnF*** the Future users has been to show the pop-up more often, so we decided to launch UnF***ables - climate lunch snacks, popping up daily.

This feature gives you a one-minute climate action during your lunch hour if you haven’t seen an action pop up in a while.

Love it? Hate it? Let us know!

Easy activism just got easier.

In honor of Plastic Free July, Remark will remove 1 lb of plastic for every new app user through our partnership with - an organization that recovers low-value plastics that would otherwise end up in landfills or ocean ecosystems while empowering waste workers to work in ethical conditions, earn livable incomes and gain better access to education and healthcare.

This is a true win-win-win for the planet, for workers & for you!

Do you know someone who would be into saving the planet with Remark? Now's the time to share this post or tag a friend in the comment section. Let's do more good together!

Fine Print: Remark will finance the removal of 1 lb of plastic for every account created from a new Remark app download on iOS and Android starting 7/1 and ending 7/31, up to $2,500 or 10,000 lbs of plastic, through our partnership with rePurpose Global.

Let's make disposable dining a thing of the past.

We are joining .global to call on our beloved restaurants to reopen with nontoxic reusables. As citizens and as consumers, we trust the data that shows reusable items are safe and we’re looking for a systemic shift towards non-toxic reusables to achieve a sustainable future!

This fight needs you!! Join us in our quest to end the reign of single-use plastic by:

🖊Signing the petition (linked in our bio!), which calls on our communities to recognize that reusable foodware is the safest and best option for both planetary and personal health.

📃 Taking it a step further by joining us on July 1st at 7pm ET for our Virtual Reuse Rally (bit.ly/virtual-reuse-rally or link in bio), to help drive more petition signatures. The rally will feature key speakers and actors in the reuse movement and provide educational information on the safety and benefits of reusables.

After a 15 month break due to COVID-19 health restrictions, just announced that they will again be accepting personal starting June 22 in the United States!

Starbucks is also bringing back the 10-cent reusable cup discount to “encourage customers to choose reusable and reduce single-use cup waste.”

But wait, there's more! Starbucks is bringing back its 'For Here Ware' program on June 22, which was initially implemented in the 1980s. This program provides guests dining indoors with reusable plates, mugs and cutlery.

Lastly, Starbucks is actively exploring the implementation of a deposit system which would allow customers to put down a "deposit" to use and return to-go cups.

It's no secret that when the pandemic hit, efforts to reduce single-use plastics became significantly harder and in some cases borderline impossible. Therefore, I am thrilled that giants like Starbucks are taking the lead on the reintroduction of personal reusables and hope that others quickly follow suit. It's time to get back on track with mitigating the plastics crisis 💪

Use our app to send Starbucks' CEO thank you and to encourage other businesses to reintroduce reusables!
