This oldie has been in the same family for longer than anyone can remember and it’s been all over the country. In all that hand changing they managed to maintain the combo but didn’t know how to dial it. A quick lesson on dialing procedures and a service of all its components and this piece of history will easily be around for another hundred years!

While refinishing the basement in an old home in Denver, this family made a discovery! Beneath the carpet they had just ripped up and under a wooden board lay a mystery! Their curiosity was too much so I got the call. Being a floor safe that had likely not been open in at least 40 years based on the vacancy of this particular home it was no surprise to find a few inches of water from a possible basement flood at some point. While most mystery safes turn out to have nothing more than a paper clip, this one held surprises! A straight razor, a pocket knife, reading glasses and their case, as well as a Starter Pistol to initiate Track & Field type events. .
