It’s an amazing hospital.
We were joined by President Soniya Fidler.

We were pleased to join Mayor Yemi Mobolade, Mayor Natalie Johnson, council members and Republic Services leaders to celebrate Recycle Awareness Week with a ribbon cutting at Republic’s Colorado Springs recycling facility.

The event highlighted Republic’s newly installed Van Dyk optical sorting system, which is expected to recover approximately 12% more recyclable materials, along with the implementation of Colorado’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program.

Together, these efforts are helping strengthen Colorado’s recycling infrastructure and keep more valuable materials out of landfills!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Denver Rustlers! We hit a new level this year with more than 200 business and community leaders and elected officials kicking off the day with the legendary brunch at Shanahan's Steakhouse before loading up the buses and heading to Pueblo to support young farmers and ranchers as they showcase their livestock and earn money for college at the Colorado State Fair.

The Denver Rustlers are led by Tim Schultz, Katie Kramer, Larry Mizel and our own Joshua Hanfling. We heard from Senator John Hickenlooper, Governor Jared Polis and Mayor Mike Johnston, who shared a few words and kicked off the trip. A special congratulations to Larry Mizel, who was announced as the recipient of the National Western Stock Show’s prestigious Citizen of the West honor!

Lastly - a big shout out to our Sewald Hanfling team for handling all of the logistics, details and behind-the-scenes work. Thank you to all the Denver Rustlers and to Black Tie Colorado for capturing the day with photos ⬇️

….and Denver Rustlers 2026 are off to Colorado State Fair in Pueblo! 🤠 The Denver Rustlers is our annual gathering of elected officials, business and community leaders coming together for a great cause: to raise money for kids at the Junior livestock sale. Our own Josh Hanfling, Larry Mizel, Tim Schultz and Katie Kramer, and our team at Sewald Hanfling organize the event including making sure no one gets left behind on the bus. The Denver Rustlers continue to be the largest buying group at the Colorado State Fair and we’re proud to represent! More photos to come 📸

Today, we join others across the country in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, a remarkable artist, philanthropist, and lifelong champion for children and literacy.

At Sewald Hanfling, we have been incredibly honored to represent Dolly Parton's Imagination Library advancing a mission that has made such a meaningful difference for children across our state.

Dolly understood that a child's love of reading can begin long before they ever step into a classroom. Through Imagination Library, she turned that belief into action, putting books directly into the hands and homes of young children and helping families build a foundation for literacy, learning, and a lifelong love of reading.

The impact of that vision in Colorado, and around the world, will be felt for generations. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have supported this extraordinary program and proud to help carry forward a piece of Dolly's legacy.
Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the books, and the countless lives you changed. Your legacy will live on in every child who discovers the magic of a book because of the Imagination Library. 📚

We appreciated the opportunity to join Republic Services on their tour with City of Colorado Springs City Councilmembers Nancy Henjum for CoS and Dave Donelson for City Council District 1 of the recycling facility! As a sustainability company, Republic Services lives up to its promise and actually recycles materials - using a variety of technology and human power to make sure products get reused. Excellent job to Republic Services team for putting together a comprehensive tour.

Today, Governor Polis signed SB26-015: Commercial Sexual Activity with a Child Offenses into law, marking an important step forward for Colorado and the fight against human trafficking and the exploitation of children.

We were incredibly proud to have played a role in helping advance this legislation and to stand alongside so many dedicated individuals who worked tirelessly to make this day possible.

Thank you to our bill sponsors for their leadership and unwavering commitment State Representative Monica Duran Jarvis Caldwell for HD20 Dylan Roberts Senator Byron Pelton.

Thank you to the coalition partners and advocates who brought their expertise and passion to this effort, and most importantly, to the survivors who courageously shared their stories and experiences.
