For the next six days, we will introduce you to the six American Team members who traveled from Colorado to spend this month in Botswana, training and consulting with 18 HIV-focused civil society organisations. Today, meet the Team Leader, Rich Male. For 40 years, Rich has provided consultation, coached, and mentored thousands of organisations. Since 1971, he has taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses in grant writing, fundraising and resource development, governance, leadership development, and public policy at institutions including the State University of New York, Washington University, and the University of Colorado at Denver. For the past ten years, Rich has provided resource mobilisation training to CSOs in Kenya. He also has provided extensive fundraising training in Ethiopia and South Africa.

Even as a young kid, our 2019 Steve Graham Award winner Rich Male knew he wanted to make a difference.
