Meet Abby Jo Smith 🤍

♦ Her classes are known for one thing: energy that meets you where you are.

♦ Playlist vibes: She loves matching the intensity of her playlist to the tone of class—anything from pop and high-energy electronic to the occasional classical cooldown to close things out.

♦ Class Must-Have: Don’t be surprised if you leave with a little lower body shake—she considers it a requirement.

♦ Pilates origin story: She found Pilates over 10 years ago after knee injuries led her away from high-impact training and into a more intentional, sustainable practice. That shift is what shaped her teaching today.

♦ For her, Pilates is for every body. Whether you’re a lifelong athlete or stepping into movement for the first time, her classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

♦ Pilates training: 500-hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor training.

You can catch her on the schedule Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus Monday mornings starting June 1.

Lachelle, our Sunday morning teaching queen 👸🏼

🪩 Pilates training: Comprehensive certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI)

🪩 Playlist energy: Chill, rhythmic beats with the occasional classic rock throwback. Fleetwood Mac always finds its way in. 🤷🏼‍♀️

🪩 Class would be incomplete without: Lunges and planks—simple, effective, and always humbling

🪩 Her Pilates origin story: She was drawn to Pilates for a low-impact workout that still delivers a serious challenge. It’s strong without being aggressive, structured but still fluid, and meets you wherever you are.
