06/06/2026
As I sit and reflect after the close of the 2026 Hmong Women Lead Online Summit, my heart is incredibly full.
What we created together today was more than just an event. It was a space for healing. A space for truth. A space for leadership, vulnerability, connection, and hope.
There were moments today that reminded me why this work matters so deeply. Moments where women felt seen, where conversations opened doors to healing, where people realized they were not alone, and where community became something tangible, even through a screen.
Today, we welcomed 150 registered participants into conversations centered on culture, care, leadership, and systems change. In the weeks leading up to this summit, our community reached more than 78,000 online views and generated over 5,000 engagements.
Our communities are searching for spaces like this. Spaces where culture and healing can exist together. Spaces where Hmong women’s voices, experiences, and leadership are honored.
At Hmong Women Lead, our mission has always been to elevate, inspire, and empower. Today, I saw all three come to life through every conversation, every story shared, every grounding moment, and every act of support and encouragement between women in this space.
I want to sincerely thank every speaker, facilitator, moderator, volunteer, partner, and attendee who helped make today possible. Thank you for bringing your wisdom, your stories, your presence, and your hearts into this space.
To everyone who joined us today, thank you for believing in this vision and for helping build something that continues to grow bigger than any one person.
I truly believe we are only at the beginning of what is possible for our communities when we choose healing, courage, collaboration, and collective care.
The conversations will continue.
The healing will continue.
The leadership will continue.
And I am deeply grateful to be on this journey alongside all of you.
With gratitude,
Yangmee Lor
