Hi friends! Mini Minds took quite a long break, so I figured it would be a good time to reintroduce myself for a new audience 🤗
I am now offering substitute provider services to local licensed home daycares! For anyone running a home daycare, you probably understand the difficulty of balancing work and personal life - and for parents with kiddos in a home daycare, the frustration of finding back-up care when your provider closes for personal obligations. Unfortunately, sub services are hard to come by, due to scheduling and licensing requirements.
As a stay-at-home mom with an undying passion for early childhood education, I am lucky enough to have the flexibility and drive to continue providing care for children in the community - even if the timing isn’t right for opening our own home daycare’s doors again!
Any likes, follows, shares, etc. are greatly appreciated! Follow for updates and other goodies. I will also be using this page to share ideas and information that may be helpful for providers and families of young kiddos. PARENTS are also welcome to reach out for babysitting services!

BACK IN BUSINESS!!! 🥳🎉

Hi friends! For those of you who don’t know, our home daycare closed late 2023. Since then, we have welcomed a baby boy to the crew, and I’ve spent some much-needed time focusing on our family as a SAHM. While there are goals for future reopening, the timing is still not yet right. HOWEVER: I am now offering daycare substitution services!

As a previous home daycare owner with a busy family, there were many times we were required to close our doors for appointments, events, illness, etc., leaving families scrambling for backup care. I know how frustrating these situations can be for everyone all-around. But there are other options!

By hiring a substitute, your doors can remain open, leaving parents at ease and your paycheck untouched by closing losses.

Hi all! I wanted to come on here real quick to share some very exciting news for the Derby area 🤗

After an ironic series of events (the similar names must’ve been a sign), I became an employee of a new daycare center that will be opening up in January 2024!

Mindful Minis is a daycare center is owned by a local therapist, and will offer mental-health based care to children aged 6 weeks through preschool-age. In addition, it will offer tons of resources and classes for parents and children. This is huge for local parents seeking trustworthy, intentional care that has a lasting impact on the well-being of their children.
