After 21 years of service to this Town, mgt has decided to terminate my employment. I would like to Thank all of you for following and the positive comments, on behalf of myself and my former crew it has been a pleasure serving all of you that frequent the Transfer Station. Im sure the crew will continue to assist you as they always have, if you have any questions in the future please direct them to Town Hall, Josh Brown or Tom Carrier.

Transfer Station will be open regular hours 12/31/2025, closed Thursday 1/1/26, we will reopen Friday/Saturday regular hours🎆🎇🎉🎊

We would like to Thank all our Residents who took the time to say kind words to the staff approaching this Holiday season, and for the Gifts, food, pastries, and Donuts..lol
They are all delicious and very much appreciated.

Tomorrow is the day to get that garage r Shed cleaned out, or maybe under the sinks..all those chemicals your not using and not sure if they are safe to throw away or not. Household Hazardous Waste day on Sargent rd Londonderry, behind Fire Station off Mammoth rd 8:30-12:30pm. Free to Derry & Londonderry residents.

It's Amazing so many people/residents came to the Transfer Station after noon time yesterday and were turned away either by the closed gate, or the ones that went thru the side gate that clearly states "do not enter".
We did the best we could to advertise the closing with 3 message boards up at the Trash building and 1 huge reader board outside the gate. It was also on the Town website, in the Derry News, and I personally posted it on this site. I appoligize if that wasn't enough, ease make a note the Town has done this around this time of year for many years now.
Thank you for your patience and understanding those of you that read the messages and waited for us open today.
We will be closed for Thanksgiving Thursday 27th, reopening Friday 28th.
