🚨 WARNING: Microsoft Publisher is Retiring! 🚨

Do you use Publisher for newsletters, flyers, or calendars? Microsoft is officially dropping support for the program in October 2026.

Depending on your version, you could be completely locked out of the app and lose access to all your .PUB files. Even worse, the official script to convert your existing documents to PDFs only works while Publisher is still active and functioning on your computer!

The clock is ticking. Read our latest blog post to learn:

- The exact deadlines for your version of Office or Microsoft 365.
- How to safely batch-convert your files to PDF before the cutoff.
- Our recommendations to replace Microsoft Publisher.

Don't wait until your important files are locked away forever!

That innocent-looking party invite from a friend might be a trap.

Hackers are currently spoofing platforms like Punchbowl and Evite. They hack a person's email, then send fake invitations to everyone in their contact list. Because the email comes from someone you know, you click it—and inadvertently download malware or hand over your passwords.

Three Red Flags to watch for:
1. It comes directly from a friend's personal email, not the official Evite/Punchbowl system.
2. It asks you to enter your email password to "view the invitation".
3. It tells you to "open on a desktop computer" (a trick to bypass your phone and infect your PC with malware!). When in doubt, don't click. Text your friend to ask if they actually sent it!

Read our latest blog post for a full breakdown of how this scam works and what to do if you've already clicked. https://www.iowapcservices.com/that-invite-could-be-a-trap
