Born and mostly raised in eastern Caracas, Venezuela. I have had a passion for intercultural communication, travel, and languages ever since I can remember. Interpreting is one of my favorite things: I interpret and translate from English to Spanish and viceversa nearly on a daily basis. Traveling is a very close second: I have been to many cities in the US, France, Venezuela, Curacao, Aruba, Puerto Rico, St. Martin/Sint Maarten, and Iran.

I'm back! My spring holiday was great, and congratulations Bulgaria 🇧🇬🥳 in winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (one of the main reasons for my travel to Austria). There is always a human behind your translation work and I always strive for excellence. "Good enough" falls short of the Caracas Language standard. I don't use AI for creative work. Yet, after completing a course on AI literacy, good prompts can help. Now I feel confident in offering more translations of scanned or handwritten materials because I've learned to leverage AI to simplify the tedious and time-consuming transcription/preproduction work, and I can get right to translating and delivering more efficiently.

I take precautions with any AI tools to protect your information and it is never used for pre-translation nor transcreation. Working to add my AI policy to my website soon. What have you learned about AI?

War is one of the biggest failures of humanity. I am so saddened by the stories of all the children in war-torn places such as Ukraine and Gaza, among other conflict-ridden regions.
Human interpreters are also so essential for communication in these situations, and they are able to convey so much more than just words.
May this child grow up in a peaceful country soon, I hope his physical and mental wounds will heal.
And props to these colleagues in the European Parliament, your empathy and humanity allows messages to go much further.
