Cari Leigh Creative

Cari Leigh Creative Creative Designs of all Kinds I have been a professional designer for over 13 years working mainly in print media.

I have branched out and have worked on many other types of creative projects. I currently do intense Photoshop work for one of the top publishers in the country. On the side I do freelancing mostly consisting of logos, business cards, banners, invitations, white papers, illustrations, maps, etc. If it involves Photoshop, Indesign or Illustrator I can do or figure it out. I am also good at working

on identity branding or keeping brand consistency. I am currently redoing my own branding and should have a new website up soon. Thank you for visiting and if you having any questions please email or message me!

I rarely follow social media trends, but I recently delved into this one that caught my eye. As a designer, I love all the different versions everyone comes up with to represent themselves.

While I utilize AI in different projects, I avoid using it for imagery. Through my daily experiences, I've discovered that it doesn't always yield the most efficient or precise outcomes. One of my weaknesses is that I’m not very good at clearing my plate—I tend to hold onto tasks instead of delegating them.

Why is that? Because I genuinely care about the outcomes.

However, I've learned that effective leadership isn’t about doing everything myself; it’s about trust, empowerment, and knowing when—and when not—to add to someone’s workload.

Delegation is a skill I’m focused on improving in 2025. What are your top strategies for delegating effectively?

When asked about my approach to leadership, I often describe it as the "Spoonful of Sugar" method, inspired by Mary Poppins.

Negative or challenging situations are part of being a leader. Just as a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, I believe in softening challenges with encouragement. In my leadership style, I make a point of pairing necessary constructive feedback with genuine praise, ensuring that every critique is balanced.
