We're running the LONDON Marathon next week!! 🇬🇧🏃‍♀️

Jake, Ricky and I are heading to London next week -is this real?! Gosh, I'm SO excited!!! My 2nd World Major AND I'm running on TEAM MS (MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS!) God blessed me with a healthy and able body and I'm going to use it to help run for a CURE 💪🏻

I had a fundraising goal of $2,500 and we raised over $3,600 to help advance MS RESEARCH 🥹⚡️ Let's GO!

"Be someone who you needed when you were younger" 🙌🏻 - Honored x 100 to support the incredible High School Student leaders of Iowa Students for To***co Education and Prevention for their virtual Leadership Development Series⚡️ 🤩 watch out world - we have some AWESOME young leaders already making such a positive impact 👏🏻

and then also pictured is me enjoying a piece of homemade bread before I got my 6 mile run in at 8 PM after our amazing session!! 🫡

A big thing I am learning in this season is.... We are dynamic and when we REALLY want something, we find ways to make it work. Determination PLOWS through excuses. And I'm showing up and making it work 💪🏻 62 days until my next marathon!

We don’t need perfect leadership.. We need - STEADY- leadership👏🏻 It's not just a "soft skill" folks, it's a leadership ADVANTAGE! 🫡⚡️

Yesterday I facilitated a customized Emotional Intelligence Leadership session for a construction team - and it was AWESOME!!

We talked about the 4 core areas of Emotional Intelligence and how leadership isn’t about never feeling pressure (unfortunately, right?)… it’s about HOW you show up when pressure is high and things are SHAKIN'.

And we didn't just "talk about it" we WERE ABOUT IT - learning tools and implementing mindset shifts IN THE MOMENT.

I love love love these conversations - when the team can open up honestly and you have leaders who want to grow! We do these sessions not because we're not "good enough", we do them because we love ourselves and the people around us.

Mission: Make a Mission Statement that we naturally want to use as a daily filter and one we truly loved 🫡 Worked with the INCREDIBLE Dubuque Community Schools Food Service Workers to make Mission Statements for their three different locations.

It supported who they are, how they want to help others feel, and how they're going to do it. Gosh it was FUN!

So HONORED to help them translate their passion for their roles into serving those in school 🙂
