We recently produced the McGregor Fund's Rest is Justice video telling the story of the Fund’s Miller Fellowship.

During that process, we were honored to learn from several Miller Fellows about their experiences of finally having a chance to rest and being supported in a way that so few nonprofit executives are.

Helping build a platform for these leaders’ voices to be heard was a privilege and we’re grateful for all the Fellows who so generously shared their stories with us.

A delightful morning! Memora CEO Melissa Halpin recently had the honor of speaking at the Women of Purpose & Philanthropy Luncheon at The Village Club.

Melissa was proud to introduce event host Sanya Weston and speak to attendees about Young People Travel Global Edge, the nonprofit Sanya founded (Melissa serves on the board).

The event brought together a stellar group of metro Detroit women leaders for the first Women of Impact event with The Village Club Enrichment Fund. A portion of the gathering’s proceeds will also help YPT’s work to support young people’s access to transformational international experiences.

We’re honored to partner with our client, The Village Club, to introduce The Village Club Enrichment Fund’s Women of Impact Residency Program — a year-long celebration of women shaping our region’s cultural, creative and civic life.

Memora is co-designing this inaugural program, which will beautifully implement TVC’s commitments to fostering thoughtful member experiences and to positively engaging with our community.

Throughout 2026, the WOI program will be welcoming female leaders in philanthropy, entrepreneurship, the arts and literature for a curated series of conversations, workshops, mentorship opportunities and capstone experiences.

Are we working or having fun? How about both! Our events team has been busy this season, working client events and creating memorable content along the way, including a recent evening with Mitch Albom at The Village Club.

TVC and The Village Club Enrichment Fund welcomed Albom for a dinner and author’s talk where he discussed "Twice," his latest novel.

This event also benefited The Village Club Enrichment Fund, which supports TVC staff, inspires member learning, enhances the surrounding community, and uplifts female entrepreneurs.
