Something NEW at Murray Farm!

We’d like to introduce our new and in progress farm store: The Milk House Market at Murray Farm

Andrea has enjoyed her tallow soap and lotion making so much that we are wanting to share it with the local community.

We will be open on Thursdays starting next week, June 11th! If you see us out an about please stop on in and check out what we have going on.

Clara and Rufus will be selling their eggs and garden sales out of the new upgraded cooler in the Milk House Building. This will help to keep things cold over the hot summer months!

The kid’s cooler is FULL and we have more eggs and asparagus coming. Stop on by for chicken or duck eggs and asparagus!

One of the best parts about growing your own beef, the roasts!

As the main cook in the household…roasts are in my top 3 favorite things to make. The ease and flavor are both highly rated!

Two questions for you?

What is your preferred method for cooking a roast?

A wonderful day on the farm. Summer is on its way! The cows are in pasture. Little calves are frolicking all over the place (hopefully not my garden!) kids are wearing swim suits. The rain didn’t even send us inside. Rufus helping daddy switch the cows to new pasture. Garden is in! Whew! A good day.

We have a new mama cow who doesn’t have mothering down, and we have to put her in the headshoot for the calf to nurse. We’re working at acclimating the two to each other but it’s looking like Clara may have a bottle feeder. She was excited to milk a cow tonight!

About as late as we can be to post our teacher gift bag options. Please order through messenger at this point…Andrea threw her phone into a pool 🤦🏻‍♀️ and photos are not looking so hot due to this sorry!

Each order will come with a cute teacher designed gift bag and homemade card. Cards are $3 on their own. Soap and card $10. Have orders in by Sunday, May 31 to have them by Wednesday, June 3rd.
