Sometimes you ask God for a sign…and then you have to pay attention when He sends it.

Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the direction of my entrepreneurial journey and The KLEE Brand.

As my commercial real estate business continues to grow, I’ve found myself questioning whether HR, operations, systems, and business consulting should still be part of what I offer.

I actually prayed about it.

I asked God to give me some direction. If this work is still something I’m supposed to be doing, show me.

And lately, I feel like He has.

Last week, I had the opportunity to facilitate Get Your Business Legit with The Operations School, working with entrepreneurs on something I’ve spent years doing throughout my career: helping businesses become more structured, organized, and operationally sound.

Because getting your business “legit” is about more than filing an LLC.

It’s understanding how your business actually operates.

Do you have systems?
Are your processes documented?
Do you understand the people side of your business?
Can someone other than you follow the way things get done?
Are you building something that can actually grow—or have you simply created another job for yourself?

These are the conversations I love having.

I’ve spent more than 15 years working across operations, project leadership, HR, franchising, business development, and real estate. And the further I get into entrepreneurship, the more I realize those experiences weren’t separate chapters.

They built the toolbox I use today.

Commercial real estate helps entrepreneurs find the space and assets to grow.

Operations helps them build the infrastructure to sustain that growth.

HR helps them build and manage the people who help carry the vision.

And strategy helps connect all of it.

So maybe the answer isn’t choosing one part of my experience and leaving the others behind.

Maybe the assignment is figuring out how they all work together.

And maybe these opportunities to teach, facilitate, and pour what I know into other entrepreneurs are the signs I asked for.

I’m paying attention. ❤️

Conversations like these are important because understanding how to approach real estate decisions can shape the long-term success of a business. Whether leasing or buying, having the right strategy in place makes all the difference.

And just like that… we’re fully leased up.🙌🏾

Excited to share that the commercial spaces at Minock Park Place in Grandmont-Rosedale are officially spoken for.

It’s been a pleasure working with the Grandmont-Rosedale Development Corporation to bring this project to life — a 42-unit senior apartment building with three prime commercial spaces that will now be home to businesses serving the community.

Looking forward to the ribbon cutting and seeing these spaces activated. Even more excited for the businesses that will now be a part of and contribute to this neighborhood.

Cheers 🥂 to a year of full-time entrepreneurship.

April 4th marked one year of me truly stepping out on my own and if I’m honest, it changed me from the inside out.

I’ve always played it somewhat safe… but this time, I jumped. No safety net. Just faith.

No roadmap that was perfectly laid out.
No guarantees. Just a decision to bet on myself with hopes of figuring it out along the way.

This past year has been a constant mindset shift, learning to trust myself, trust the process, and truly understand what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.

So many doors have opened. Opportunities I couldn’t have planned for. Rooms I once only imagined being in.

This image has been my screensaver for a reason. A rose growing through concrete.

Over the past year, I’ve built, learned, stretched, and refined not just my business, but how I think, move, and show up.

To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me along this journey, thank you. It truly means more than you know.

Recently, I had the opportunity to pitch my business. This is something I don’t do often and this marked my second time stepping into that space.

What stood out most was the experience. The room, the energy, and the overwhelming support and positive feedback reminded me that growth happens when you’re willing to put yourself out there.

Entrepreneurship will stretch you. It will require you to clearly communicate your vision, stand in it, and refine it in real time. And I’m embracing every part of that process.

Being on the other side of the table evaluating vision, strategy, and ex*****on was a full circle moment.
