A note from the CEO: Building a life is not just about career building to me. Recovering from the unexpected has deepened my desire to truly build a life that I love because when I can't work, what will my life story say? What impact will I have made? Who will surround me?

During slow seasons for business, I learn to shift my focus to not just preparation for booming seasons, but also to take in the present moment and appreciate the stillness. I may not always know the "why", but I do know that Romans 8:28 remains true. All things do work together even when the pieces look a mess.

Happy Juneteeth! This year I was nominated for The Hustle of the Detroit Historical Society. Last night my sister accompanied me to the reception where I saw some familiar faces and met some new. I was elated to be amongst so many remarkable Detroit entrepreneurs and changemakers. I am humbled to have even been considered amongst them.
