Since Covid, I have been on a reduced photography schedule, completing only a dozen or so sessions. Since I'm accepting so few sessions right now, I haven't been posting those shoots. But I couldn't miss posting this one. Maddie is the daughter of the first client Dresden Park Photography ever had...now a decade ago. And now she is a senior. And just as sweet, kind, smart, and even more beautiful then the little girl I first met. I adore her and her complete extended family. We had such a great time at Greenfield Village and even a steady "London sprinkle" couldn't dampen our session. Love you Maddie!

there is something so special about extended families...cousins, aunts, grandparents....lots of auxiliary love that goes on and one.... And watching the addition of branches being added to the family tree is such a gift. This family continues to grow and there is plenty of love to share! We took so many group shots...of families, cousins, all together, etc, but its always nice to see the individuals that make up the whole. These are only a few of the many beautiful T-K-P family....

what a joy to participate in a surprise proposal event....especially when it involved one of my favorite families. The cool autumn temps climbed a few degrees with the love....or was it the champagne....that was generously shared with all (note: the kids are drinking bubbly grape juice, but their combined energy kept them warm!). What a great ending to the short 2020 photography season! Congrats J & M....and love to the T, P, and K Families!

a decade ago, the K Family was Dresden Park Photography's first official customer and today I was honored to photograph Mrs K's brother's surprise engagement during a "family" shoot. After lots of joyful laughter and a champagne toast (bubbly grape juice for the kids), the K, P, and T families came together for an epic photo where even the little ones looked at the camera, lol. Family is support, a safe haven, and a place where you are always welcome. Today these families had their hearts expand a little more to welcome new members into their circle!

oh this family! Due to expat moves to Sweden and Canada....I hadn't seen their beautiful smiling faces in way too long. What a treat to see them again and meet their newest family member, the pup Hazel. Thank you C Family, you did my heart good. Michigan is blessed to have you home again.

sooooo excited to see this family again. Our last photo session was years ago, shortly before they moved to Sweden, where they lived in a house on the water....followed by Canada...and now, finally, back home to Michigan. The children are taller but just as sweet as always! And check out the new addition, Hazel...who is already part of this wonderful family. Welcome Home C Family!

I've watched these two grew up over the last almost ten years... They have each others backs (with an occasional push :-)) and they hold each others hearts. They make each other laugh and occasionally cry....making up quickly. Forever Friends. Siblings. Mirrors to each other of a family's love. We even let Dad get in a shot or two. Love you Max & Ellie! Miss you already!!

this right here is what joy looks like..... I first met these two when sweet E was a baby...and now these two are empathetic, funny, smart, loving, and caring young people. Individually you can have the most interesting conversations with them. Put together they bring you laughter. M is always ready for adventure...do I want him to sit on top of the railing 20 feet above river? Ummm....no! E is full of energy. She shared that this year she really enjoys skipping. Me? I find every year with them a beautiful "adventure" and my heart "skips" every time they smile at me. So we have a lot in common. Their parents pour in love and time into their lives...and these two share it with the world.
