Corporate Growth Strategy Advisors (CGS Advisors, LLC) was founded in 2008 with the focus to help leaders cut through the noise, and define unique paths to growth. Generally, we advise those who seek to make things better; to change the status quo; and ultimately to grow to achieve their visions. Although we often find ourselves advising on general business matters, our three focus areas are:

CGS Advisors' managing director Gregg Garrett has recently been recognized by Oakland County, as a member of the "Elite 40 Under 40" 2015 class. Oakland University has posted a great article highlighting this latest achievement.

The list of academic options at Oakland University is constantly growing. OU currently offers more than 120 undergraduate degrees and more than 120 graduate and certificate options. Students have the opportunity to participate in high-level research as early as their freshman year.

Lisa Katz, Executive Director at Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN), provides some excellent commentary on how the connected world truly changes the landscape of everything. Providing examples of how institutions like Oakland University are finding new ways to educate and inspire, to large non-IT based businesses developing new connected strategies. The shift in thinking in our region is already happening, and we’re proud to be a part of it.

In just a five-year time period in Southeast Michigan, the number of online job postings for information technology jobs climbed 55 percent. This was just after the recession and leading into an economic future that, while arguably more stable, certainly has not been a boom time in our region.
