Prop Art Studios presents: the completed Auggie Award!

🏆Custom fabricated in our studio infront of Detroit's historic Belle Isle, we handcrafted this from foam, steel, Masonite, pvc, hardcoat and 14k gold (just kidding, although that would be so fun) 🏆

Thank you to ON Services this was such a fun one!

Big ideas deserve custom builds.

Meet Twist, a fully custom mobile popup bar Prop Art Studio designed and fabricated for the new Nick Gilbert way— Bedrock Hudson's Detroit

Every detail was built with both function and personality in mind

- Food-quality butcher block countertops
- Custom storage
- Custom neon signage made in-house
- Mobile AND watertight!

One of our favorite parts of projects like this is watching it evolve to a finished piece that’s ready to be put to work. Go check it out at the new Hudson’s building in downtown Detroit 💛💚💛

+last two pics are of additional custom carts we handcrafted!

How often do you get to work on your dream project?

One of our favorite things to create are little critters 🐿️

We had the pleasure of creating these cutie patootie animal characters for Smith Creek Reserve, and it was the perfect opportunity to let our artists do what they do best. We're constantly amazed by the talent on our team and love seeing a project come to life from the Mike's first sketches to the installed sculptures.

🌟See how we build our custom sculptures!🌟

We start with our in-house welded steel bases and armature for strength. Next we apply the foam which we made on our FROG3D mill and hand sculpt it onto the steel.

Then comes the urethane hard coat! We meticulously sand to prep for our base coat of paint from The Color Bloc Detroit, Benjamin Moore. Then comes the finish painting and sealant!

🫈Shoutout to the State Fair of Texas for trusting us with this cool project back in ‘22! We love this kind of work🫈
