This resignation letter is really a gift. It is true and it is enough - and I love that it was issued on my birthday. It is a reminder to me that brevity and even silence can speak volumes.

Not every resignation letter has such an obvious air of elevation pending. And even when the next page may not be clear to the reader, the choice is ours and it has been made. That is really enough.

It says:

- My time here is complete.
- I am turning a new page.
- Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

Allowing ourselves certain goodbyes to embrace beautiful hellos is an act of self-love.
