When Compliance and Community Consultants, LLC (CCC) partnered with Treasurer Eric R. Sabree’s office to launch the Wayne County Property Tax Foreclosure Prevention Fund in 2025, our goal was clear—keep vulnerable, owner-occupied families in their homes. In year one, we did exactly that, raising $992,000 in capital and stabilizing 134 households.

We're rebuilding the eligibility framework to protect the public and private dollars at stake, ensuring we protect the right households, the right way.

Applications Now Open | Rebuild and Rise: The Washtenaw Microenterprise Growth Cohort

Small businesses across Washtenaw County are still navigating the long-term impacts of COVID-19. In response, we are launching Rebuild and Rise, a 6-week intensive, hybrid accelerator designed to help microenterprise owners stabilize, modernize, and position their businesses for sustainable growth.

This cohort is designed for Washtenaw County microenterprises (5 or fewer employees) that were established on or before March 16, 2020 and experienced COVID-related disruptions.

Participants will receive:
• Hands-on business coaching and technical assistance
• Support with sales strategy, marketing, and cash flow
• Peer learning and accountability
• The opportunity to be considered for a $2,500 business grant upon successful completion

Key Dates
• Applications accepted now through February 11, 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Acceptance notifications sent February 13, 2026
• Cohort begins February 18, 2026

The program meets Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–8:00 PM and includes in-person and online sessions (hybrid).

If you are a small business owner in Washtenaw County who is ready to commit to an intensive, results-driven program, we encourage you to apply. Please share this opportunity.
