The spirit of giving continued into the holiday season. Through the 2025 Christmas Holiday Toy Drive, DCP helped bring joy and laughter to 29 children in partnership with Officer Robinson and the DPD 11th Precinct. Because of the leadership and coordination of Dubrece Miller, Senior Accountant, and Dr. Phil White, Plant Manager, toys found their way into eager little hands, lighting up faces with bright, joyful smiles.
Together, these moments reflect the heart of DCP—where service extends beyond our walls and into the community. Thank you to Miriam, Dubrece, Dr. Phil, Company owners, and every Associate who gave, supported, and helped make a meaningful difference.

What began as a simple act of giving quickly became a powerful reminder of what happens when compassion leads the way. In conjunction with Dan Robinson Sr., Neighborhood Police Officer, and the DPD 11th Precinct, DCP Associates came together for the 2025 Community Food Drive to donate an incredible 525 pounds of non-perishable food items, helping families across the community during a time of great need. This effort was made possible through the dedicated leadership of Miriam Osho from Accounts Payable and Dr. Phil White, Plant Manager, whose commitment helped turn generosity into action.

👏 Thank you, Team DCP, for showing the power of giving back and proving that we don’t just build world-class chassis—we help build stronger communities! 👏

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, DCP Associates rolled up their sleeves and made a lasting difference in the community by helping build a brand-new playground at The Children’s Center. The project is a shining example of teamwork, partnership, and heart—again showing that DCPers know how to come together for a great cause!
This special initiative blossomed from the growing collaboration between The Children’s Center and the National Association of Black Suppliers Scholarship Fund (NABSSF), with generous funding provided by the Ford Motor Company Fund.
Representing DCP were some familiar faces who brought their energy, tools, and big smiles to the project:
• Michael Guthrie, Chairman Emeritus of the NABSSF Board and CEO/Co-Chairman of Detroit Chassis
• Dennis Edwards, President of The Children’s Center Board and President of Detroit Chassis
• Phil White, Plant Manager
• David Ogbuaku, Senior Quality Engineer
• Dubrece Miller, Sr. Accountant
• Miriam Osho, Accounts Payable
Other DCP volunteers from production jumped right in to help, including Donnell Baldwin, Nia Baldwin, Sojourn Bentley, Muriel Burrell, Andre Chandler, Robert Colvard, Donna Gray, Albert McCreary, Gary Spears, and Katina Spicer.

“Projects like this show what can happen when organizations come together around a common goal,” said Michael Guthrie, CEO and Co-Chairman, Detroit Chassis. “This playground will be a place of joy, laughter, and growth for children for years.”

Together with NABSSF board members and community partners, they began revitalizing a safe and welcoming playground designed to bring joy to children and families. Everyone gave their all to make it a memorable day, from assembling equipment to painting play spaces.

A dedication ceremony is planned for Friday, November 7, 2025. The new playground will be more than just swings and slides—it will be a place where children will laugh, grow, and make memories. This happened because of the dedication, generosity, and teamwork of people who believe in building brighter futures.

Detroit, MI — Thursday, October 2, 2025 — Detroit Chassis hosted 35 seniors from Pershing High School, three chaperones, and Mr. Raymond Bell of Schoolcraft College, for an interactive plant tour designed to showcase career opportunities in manufacturing.
Students arrived to a warm welcome with music in the lobby and were escorted by the Finance team—Brian Salisbury, Finance Director; Dubrece Miller, Sr. Accountant; Miriam Osho, Accounts Payable; and Dave McClerren, Purchasing Manager. In the Family Room, they were greeted by Detroit Chassis leaders, including Dennis Edwards, President; Edwina Milligan, VP of HR; Phil White, Plant Manager; Kamilah Taylor, Safety Manager; Yehia Harajli, VP of Engineering; and Ranson Smith, Director of Process Engineering and Quality.

The program opened with remarks from Dr. Linda Ratliff, followed by a company presentation from President Dennis Edwards. Students then toured the facility in four groups, led by Detroit Chassis guides and supported by associates at each production station.

“Detroit Chassis is proud to partner with local schools to spark interest in manufacturing careers and show students the world-class opportunities available here in Detroit,” said Dennis Edwards, President.

The visit reflected Detroit Chassis’ ongoing commitment to education, workforce development, and strengthening ties with the community.
