You can have friends. A family. A community. A room full of people who love you—
and still not feel known.
Because belonging isn’t just about having people around you. It’s having spaces where you can take off the roles, loosen the expectations, be vulnerable, and still feel safe enough to be seen.
I had the opportunity to talk with SCETV’s Safe Space about vulnerability, belonging, community—and why the relationships we build matter so much to our emotional wellness.
And I keep coming back to this:
We all need somewhere we don’t have to perform to belong.
Who is that person—or what is that space—for you? 👇🏾
Send this to someone who has made you feel safe enough to be fully yourself. 🤎
