June 19th, 1865 the soldiers, let by Major General Gordon Granger, went to Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended & that the enslaved were now free.

Only in recent years have we seen recognization for this holiday on a national level but we should be more familiar with the stories and people that made the freedom of Black Americans possible.

This month take some time to educate yourself on how far we’ve come & celebrate those making strides to take us further!

We’d like to congratulate the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and this year’s Classical Roots Committee for a successful fundraiser.

Classical Roots holds a special place in our hearts, as our late co-founder, Marlowe Stoudamire served on the host committee for a number of years. The event’s mission is aligned with our company’s daily work and the initiatives our team personally supports.

We're honored to continue to live out Marlowe's legacy through our work & through supporting worthy organizations like the DSO.
