Such a special experience to be a part of the Multi-Chamber Business Expo!

Carrie spent the day talking with business owners from around Troy, and learning more about what's being built right here in our own backyard. It was awesome to see all of the exciting things happening so close to us.

We were set up next to Steve Anderson and the Calysto Group team, which made the day even better.

The $1,000 Aysnd Strategic Partnership Credit found its winner, and all eight of the discounted strategy sessions have been claimed by the local business community.

We really appreciate the Troy Chamber of Commerce for participating with us at this event!

Steinyfest is one of our favorite weekends of the year, and lucky us! We get to sponsor it AND design the poster. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at how this year's design came together.

We started where we start everything, in a FigJam board with dozens of festival posters pulled in for inspiration, talking through what makes a good one work. Steinyfest has a retro concert poster energy nobody wanted to lose, so the task was to pushing it further without making it fussy. It had to stay fun and loose and reflect the energy of the day itself.

Then we sketched thumbnails, small and fast and loose, just to start getting the ideas out. The circled one is where everybody landed right away: the iconic silhouette of a guitar that works as the background and the framing for all the fest information.

From there we scaled it up to a tighter sketch and embarked on a color exploration. We added detail and pulled it back until we found the right balance that allowed the lineup to shine.

Now for the best part: in October we get to stand in that crowd and watch this thing walk past us on t-shirts. See you there!

Carrie has been selected as the Technology Pillar Instructor for Great Lakes Women's Business Council's Trusted Connector Program, and we could not be more proud.

Carrie is bringing what she does every day as co-founder of Aysnd to a different set of founders. With over twenty years of experience in information technology, software and ecommerce, she is helping small business owners get their technology decisions right early.

Trusted Connector is a place-based program that connects business owners across Southeast Michigan to practical tools, their local chambers, and grant opportunities at the finish. Carrie is leading two groups of founders through three 90-minute sessions each, one a month, July through September.

July's session is a technology assessment and everyone leaves with two or three priorities worth fixing. August covers automation and practical AI, with the goal of finding one process that could be handed off to software. September gets into cybersecurity, data protection, and budgeting, and ends with a one-year Technology Action Plan.

Full announcement and program details are in the comments. Congratulations, Carrie!

Carrie will be heading to Chicago for Automate, June 22 to 25.

Automate is North America's largest robotics and automation event, bringing together the people building the future of how companies operate, sell, and serve their customers. A lot of where commerce is headed starts here.

Carrie is looking forward to digging into the AI and vision systems shaping how brands actually work, and catching the Women's Empowerment Forum, which hits close to home for a 100% women-owned agency.

Looking forward to the new connections and hearing how other teams are tackling the same challenges from different angles.

Turns out the best lessons in conscious, intentional work didn't come from a strategy deck. It came from two adorable cats. Amy makes the case that Pixel and Roscoe have been teaching her the Four C's all along, just with more chaos and significantly more fur.

A rebrand usually gets scoped as a design project. Then, somewhere around month two, the platform underneath turns out to be the real job.

Atlas RFID saw that coming. They knew the brand was ready for its next chapter, and that the BigCommerce store underneath couldn't carry it without real work. So we moved both at once.

The result their team feels daily: marketing can now ship a campaign or a new landing page without filing a developer ticket.

There was a lot more under the hood, including one file we cut from 303 lines to 51. Read the full story here → www.aysnd.com/news-perspectives/rebranding-atlas-rfid

Huge thanks to the team at Atlas RFID, including Shain Armstrong, Tom Ascher, Suzanne Gotfryd, Steven Wood, Selina Malone, and Ellen C. for the kind of partnership that lets complex work ship clean.

And thank you Lauren, Jesse, and Amy for the brand and UX/UI work that brought the experience to life.

A brand symbol can seem like a small thing until you actually try to create one that feels right.

What started as a design project quickly became a much bigger conversation about who Aysnd is today, how we’ve evolved over the last year and a half, and what we want this next chapter to feel like.

This wasn’t a “pick an icon and move on” process. We had to slow down, treat ourselves like we would any client, and get aligned on what the brand was actually meant to express before any design direction could really land. Workshops, alignment, hard questions and all.

The result is a new symbol rooted in growth, connection, movement, and collaboration. A mark that feels a lot more like us.

In our latest blog, Amy shares the thinking, process, and reset behind the evolution of the Aysnd brand identity.

Next week Carrie will be attending the Conscious Connections event hosted by Conscious Capitalism.

It’s a working session that brings leaders together across industries to explore what becomes possible when we move beyond silos and build around shared purpose.

Looking forward to the conversations, new connections, and the ideas that come from bringing different perspectives into the same room.
