To the people of Devers,
It has come to the department's attention that a certain ESD within our county is trying to take over our fire district. As people have seen on display at our fundraiser last Saturday, we have received new equipment and are still having more coming within the next couple of months. We have also received a grant for a brand new brush truck, which should be in sometime in the next month that will benefit our department tremendously. We are working hard on becoming better equipped to service our community without taxing the people and companies within our district. This is why we do fundraisers and are constantly applying for grants. As most of us work during the day, we are always looking for more volunteers to help cover our daily calls. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us on messenger. Our meeting nights are every Thursday at 7p.m. and we would be grateful for anyone who wants to stop by and fill out an application.
