Not so scary Halloween 10/10/26

10/14/2026

This past Saturday we were at the Liberty City park for “not so scary Halloween”. We are thankful that we are invited year after year to help make Halloween and trick or treating for our special friends a fun and eventful night.

We had the absolute best time today at Devers Elementary teaching them all about fire safety and prevention.

Then somehow the 5th graders talked us into a game of dodgeball. Where they just happened to smoke us!

Thank you Devers ISD for allowing us to come out and be a part of these kids lives!

Today some of the members of Devers VFD participated in a Sawzall Showdown contest put on by TNT, Milwaukee and Home Depot BMT.

We had to cut a car completely in half with only one Sawzall. We went up against ESD 3 of Jefferson County. To say the least we had the best time.

Thank you to TNT, Milwaukee and Home Depot BMT for the invitation and providing us with tools, a space to do the contest and a new tshirt.

Both teams walked away with a new Sawzall courtesy of Milwaukee Tools!
