09/13/2026

This morning, a few of our Dewey firefighters came together to complete the 9/11 Stair Climb in honor of the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We climb for those who never came home. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Approximately 10:30 this morning Dewey Fire was requested for mutual aid by Copan Fire Department for a fast moving grassfire. Brush 2 & 3 responded with 4 personnel. Crews arrived on scene & assisted with fire attack & mop up. We were on scene for a hour before being released by command. Great reminder that even though we just got a lot of rain a few days ago the grass is dry again! BURN BAN still on!
