First up … 👀
Every hero has a moment when they have to answer the call. For Todd, that call usually comes from the mold room.
It was another day at Pioneer Plastics. Machines were running, plastic was flowing, and production was moving along as planned – people were LOVING IT. Then, suddenly, a problem appeared. One of the injection molds wasn't performing the way it should. A small issue with a mold can quickly become a big problem—affecting the quality of the parts, slowing production, and potentially bringing an entire machine to a stop.
That's when Todd gets the call.
While others might see a complicated piece of steel covered in channels, components, and moving parts, Todd sees a puzzle that needs to be solved. He knows that every mold has a job to do, and when something isn't working correctly, it's his job to figure out why.
Todd gets to work.
He takes the mold apart when necessary, inspects the components, searches for worn or damaged areas, and figures out exactly what needs to be repaired. Sometimes the problem is obvious. Other times, it takes experience, patience, and a trained eye to find the source of the issue.
A damaged component gets replaced. A worn section gets repaired. Adjustments are made. Parts are cleaned, checked, and carefully put back together.
But Todd doesn't stop at simply getting the mold working again. He makes sure it's ready to return to production and produce the quality parts Pioneer Plastics customers expect.
The clock is ticking. Production is waiting. The mold needs to be saved.
Todd makes the final checks, gets everything back where it belongs, and prepares the mold for its return.
The mold goes back into production.
The machine starts running.
Parts begin coming off the line.
Mission accomplished.
To most people, it might just look like another day at work. But behind every mold Todd repairs is a problem that could have stopped production—and another example of why having someone who knows the molds inside and out is so important.
He doesn't wear a cape. He carries tools.
He doesn't fight villains. He fights broken molds.
And when production needs a hero, Todd answers the call.
