🚨 BACK-TO-BACK WORKING FIRES IN THE RIVERTOWNS 🚨
It was a busy day today for fire departments throughout the Rivertowns, with our members responding to two separate working fires alongside our mutual aid partners.
At approximately 5:00 AM, the Irvington Fire Department, along with Dobbs Ferry Tower Ladder 23 and Tarrytown Fire Department Engine 80, were dispatched for a reported structure fire on Mountain Road.
Upon arrival, Irvington Command transmitted a 10-75 Working Fire, bringing additional mutual aid resources to the scene. Our members operated alongside firefighters from surrounding departments for approximately five hours before being released.
Then, at approximately 1:30 PM, the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department, along with Dobbs Ferry Tower Ladder 23, were dispatched to a business on Warburton Avenue for another reported structure fire.
Hastings Command confirmed a working fire, bringing Dobbs Ferry Engine 48 and additional mutual-aid companies to the scene. Our members operated for just under two hours before being released.
We are proud to assist our mutual aid partners and grateful for the teamwork displayed by everyone who responded today.
