We're so proud to be working with Dacamera Editions, the in-house label of Da Camera of Houston. Under Artistic Director/Executive Producer Sarah Rothenberg, the label is dedicated to disseminating the distinctive mix of new works, surprising juxtapositions, and diverse musical styles that have defined DACAMERA, the Houston-based presenter and producer of chamber music and jazz, for over 35 years.

We've just announced the third release for the label—Matthew Aucoin's epic "Music for New Bodies." This premiere recording, which features American Modern Opera Company and Sandbox Percussion, is out on October 30.

Thanks for the shout-out Air Mail! Air Mail's Matthew Gurewitsch runs down Music Before 1800's 52nd season, which kicks off on October 4 with Relic.

Artistic Director Robby Meese's first full season at the helm features The Helicon Ensemble, Música Antiqua Latina, ModernMedieval Voices, Música Temprana, The Boston Camerata, Juilliard415, and Paul O'Dette.

The June issue of Percussive Arts Society's Percussive Notes includes a wonderful review of Percussia's "Murmuration."

This is where my New York punk-jazz background collides head-on with Norbert Bürger’s (Snakey Burger) and Lino Blöchlinger’s incredible Swiss free-improv on sax and flute.

This 6-minute homage to Don Knotts is a wild ride of anarchic improvisation and twisted funk. We tracked this live at Studio Mildenberger in Munich, and the energy in the room was pure electricity. 🇩🇪🇺🇸🇨🇭

A Far Cry closed out their season last weekend with an insightful program entitled The Strangers Case, with Karim Sulayman at NEC’s Jordan Hall. This program, exploring migration and displacement, is a wonderful example of AFC doing what it does best!
