Founded in 1999, Shelton Vineyards is one of the largest family-owned Estate winery in North Carolina. Located in the Yadkin Valley near Dobson and Mt. Grab your favorite people and make a day of it at Shelton. Start with a tasting, stay for lunch at Harvest Grill, find a spot outside with a glass of wine, and settle in for the afternoon.

Saturday: Live music on the Terrace with Brett Munn, 1–4 PM.

Saturday + Sunday: Harvest Grill open for lunch and dinner.

Labor Day Monday: Tasting Room OPEN. Harvest Grill CLOSED.

For our anniversary, the 2017 Malbec is just $19 per bottle, regularly $29, now through August 31.

Tonight’s the night! On The Border - the Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band takes the stage at Shelton Vineyards.

Come out early and make a day of it. Enjoy a wine tasting, grab a bite from Harvest Grill and spend the afternoon with live music from Craig Vaughn on the terrace from 1–4 p.m. before the concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

A few things to know before you go:

• Concert gates open at 3 p.m.
• Bring your digital or paper ticket + ID
• Day-of tickets are still available for $30
• Bring chairs or blankets. No tents
• Food available from BJ’s Fry Shack, Smokin’ Hot Butts, Strange Trip Pizza + Harvest Grill To-Go
• No outside food, beverages or coolers
• Rain or shine
• Last call at 8:30 p.m.

On the Border: The Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band returns to Shelton Vineyards this Saturday, August 15.

Make a day of it before the show. Come out early for a wine tasting, enjoy live music from Craig Vaughn on the terrace from 1–4 p.m., and spend the afternoon taking in the vineyard before On the Border takes the stage.

We’re grateful to have you as part of our wine family.

Before the first grape is picked, there’s a lot of watching, sampling, and tasting happening in the vineyard.

Our team is tracking sugar, acidity, pH, flavor development and fruit health, while keeping a close eye on temperature and rainfall.

Every vineyard block ripens on its own timeline. The next few weeks are about finding the ideal harvest window for each, so every grape is picked at its peak potential.

Follow along as we get closer to Harvest 2026.
