The last Crop Update from Our Territories of the summer🌱

Eastern Territory: Corn is progressing toward dent across eastern Iowa, with promising yield potential in many fields. Recent hail and weather variability have impacted some fields, while others continue to show strong results heading into harvest.

Central Territory: Short-season varieties are a couple of weeks from harvest, with overall crop progress looking promising despite some Sudden Death Syndrome.

🌱 Crop Update from Our Territories

Central Territory: Corn is at 1/8 to 1/3 starch line, with timely rains helping maintain moisture. Final irrigation decisions will depend on starch lines and husk condition.

Western Territory: Despite a tough, dry start, corn is progressing from late milk to early dough and showing strong resilience. Kernel counts look good, with a focus on finishing the crop strong.

Theo and Aubree have arrived at the Iowa State Fair!

ServiTech is proud to sponsor Aubree and her steer, Theo, in the 2026 Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show. We’re excited to cheer them on as they step into the Livestock Pavilion this Saturday!

🌱 Come Scout with Kai Wilkins 🌱

Kai is an Agronomy Intern with ServiTech in our Western Territory and is currently attending Western Nebraska Community College, where he is working toward his degree in Crop Production.

Today, Kai is scouting a sugar beet field, checking the overall health of the crop and monitoring for potential disease issues. His favorite part of the internship is the hands-on experience and the opportunity to work alongside a great team.
