Hunting seasons are getting started around the country, and I wanted to take a second to let everyone know that once again this fall, I will not be taking in any customer taxidermy.
This summer has been incredibly busy for me between managing Champions Choice’s substantial growth, sculpting, and doing taxidermy. I still have a handful of very patient customers waiting on mounts, and I’m excited to say my goal is to have all of those completed by the end of this year. I truly appreciate everyone who has been patient with me.
Moving forward I will also be teaching more and will start scheduling taxidermy classes soon. I’m planning a group class in December, with the location and dates still to be determined. If you’re a taxidermist who would be interested in hosting a class and have a shop big enough to comfortably accommodate five students, shoot me a message.
The last few years have been stressful at times trying to keep so many irons in the fire but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it will all be worth it.
With that being said, I’m incredibly grateful. This industry has given me opportunities, and experiences I never could have imagined. I truly feel blessed to be able to make a living doing something I love, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.
